Daewoo Tacuma

It took 3 years for GM Daewoo to develop the Tacuma from a concept to a road going realism. It was initially developed as a 'recreational saloon' but it fits into the Mini MPV category perfectly. Unlike its predecessors the Tacuma design uses a unique platform and its exterior & interior styling along with its chassis dynamics have been heavily influenced by commercial partners Porsche, Giugiaro and Pininfarina.

The name Tacuma is derived from an Afrikaans word which means 'joyful lifestyle' and the Tacuma is a lifestyle vehicle aimed at young families who want an MPV with a high standard spec at a fair price.
